original

Resilience defines our ability to resist adverse outcomes and stems from the Latin word “resilientia,” meaning “to rebound.” More recently, resilience has been viewed by researchers as a dynamic concept rather than an individual trait. Rather than being a static personality trait, resilience is positively affected by systems of support and strong relationships (Denckla et al., 2020; Pearson et al., 2025).

simplified

Resilience is our ability to bounce back from tough times. The word comes from the Latin “resilientia,” which means “to rebound.” Today, experts see resilience as something that changes. It is not just a part of who we are. It grows stronger with help from others and good friendships.

Who is this for?

It's for anyone who wants to start reading English content or get better at it, even if you've just started learning.

How is this different from other apps?

Most apps rely on structured exercises and quizzes. They can be useful for beginners, but they often feel removed from how people actually use English. We want to make it possible for more people to take their first step using English.

What if I want to get better at speaking?

The current focus of the app is reading, which helps you build vocabulary and language intuition. Over time, the app will introduce new features to help you use English in everyday contexts involving speaking, writing, and listening.

What happens when I get selected for beta?

You will receive a TestFlight invitation and occasional follow-up questions. You'll see a confirmation after signing up. Joining the list does not guarantee immediate access.
